Caramel milk Pionono

Portions: 6-8

Preparation time: 45 mins.


4 yolk

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup all puporse flour

1 tsp. vanilla estract

4 egg white

a pinch of salt


Directions (Preheat the oven to 375 F)


1) In a bowl, combine the 4 egg yolks, vanilla extract and add 3/4 cup sugar and beat until the mixture is thick and pale yellow in color.

2) Gradualy add the flour mixture to the egg yolks, and continue to beat at slow speed until the batter is thick and smooth.



In a separate bowl, combine the 4 egg whites and a pinch of salt. Beat at medium to high speed while until soft peaks form.

Fold the egg whites into the batter using a spatula, pour the mixture into the prepared pan, and spread evenly.

Bake for 10-12 minutes approx. in a preheat oven to 375F. Wait until is cool.

Carefully remove the parchment paper or the cake from the pan, Spread with caramel milk, roll the cake and refrigerate for at least two hours befor serving.
